Transylvania again

I am a very superstitious but only because my mother was very fey, and continually pointed out the future.
I think superstition occurs when the same random event happens frequency in a certain order, so that people start associating certain things. For example, I am extremely weird ( ok,ok, I know) about finding money: if I find a coin somewhere that is a sign.
So imagine my delight when I found a 10 cent coin in a property I was looking at in Floresti.
This is worth all of 2p.
I only need another 4,999,999 to buy the place.

I too have been superstitious ever since the Friday 13th when my car was towed away, despite being legally parked.

Later the same day, I was followed by a group of leery men in a car when I was cycling home after dark (having no car) wearing my skimpy cycle shorts - I was young and pretty then.

When they drew up next to me at a set of lights, I felt distinctly uncomfortable so, for the first time in my life, I rode through a red - a left turn onto a deserted road.

The men in the Ford Escort then declared themselves to be plain clothes policeman and charged me with jumping a red light.

I still have to declare the conviction in my special circumstances job.

ww - I don't believe in them. But finding the money is always significant. There have been occasions when I have refused to buy a property because of a Magpie sitting on it.
007.5 - actually, leery men are always plainclothes policemen. The good looking, well dressed ones are the rapists and muggers.
